I’m back! Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…

… I heard of a deal SO good I had to come out of blog-tirement to write about it. Apparently there is some Chase credit card that gives you DOUBLE miles when you buy food on the First Friday of the month. See how “First Friday” has a repeating F? OMG how clever is that!?! Just imagine how lucrative this can be. Say you are heading to your vacation home in the Hamptons for the weekend and you need to stock up on lobster for all your guests? Wow! So many easy points. But with a deal THIS amazing it’s only a matter of time before evil bloggers will see it’s demise. So get in quick!!!!

Other than that amazing gig I’ve not really been super focused on the miles and points world. Real life stuff like divorce and career change have gotten in the way. But I have learned a thing or two about this crazy reselling Amazon FBA gig in the interim and I’m going to write a little about that. Haven’t decided yet whether I do it here at Milesabound or create a new space … what d’ya think? Are you even still there?

Sorry to hear about the divorce. What is the new career line if I may ask? Welcome back – hoping to hear more.

    • Hey shit happens, we are on good terms. I am now a full time reseller, trying to scale it up to something industrial level

OMG!! Double like in 2x points???? holy crap!!! lol Welcome back young man! I’ve been thinking about the reselling deal but it seems like such a pita. Have you found it simple enough to fit in with a busy life??

    • I know right!! TWICE the points. Utterly amazing!!!

Reselling is a royal PITA. But it’s now my full time job, so it IS my busy life πŸ™‚

Good to hear from you, Phil. I’ve dabbled in FBA and am getting the f-out. It was becoming a third full time job for me so the work-life balance thing started to shift unfavorable for me. I look forward to your posting!

    Good to see you back.

I got a kick out of your analysis of reselling that somehow morphed into selling full-time. Because, of course, there are iPad deals, and then there are actual deals, if you take the time to learn where to find them, right?

I am more than happy that I can do it on my own terms, on my own time, and don’t, as Andrew pointed out 10 months ago, have to go to Walmart and be treated like a criminal. Me! A sweet grandma!

    • Yeah there is definitely an irony there πŸ˜‰ When I wrote that post I was kicking the tires on the resale space. It was only later that I began to work out where the real juice was in reselling, and the potential scale and size of the business.

We are still here!! Glad you’re back.
Why not just write about fba at miles abound? Then again, I don’t really care where you write about it, as long as I know where it is. πŸ™‚

    • I like the idea of keeping it here as I am sure everyone who has followed along in the past has some interest. But obviously the name is not exactly relevant. But not sure if that is important anyway lol

      • Michele Dukinfield

If you use your miles earning cards, the miles certainly DO abound when you are using the card for full-time reselling. It’s just that not only miles, but bucks abound.

  • Welcome back! Looking forward to some reselling posts.
